Three West Norfolk camping sites have made it into the top five in the county in Tripadvisor’s best value list.
One of them, Willow Barn Holidays, in School Road, Terrington St John, only opened its glamping site last year.
Karen Field and Richard Munday had been running a bed and breakfast business at their smallholding home for four years before adding a holiday cottage and two six-metre bell tents.
Guests can expect country views, the Queen’s Head honesty bar, resident animals, a playground, hot tubs and a seasonal swimming pool.
One reviewer said: “Wow, what can I say, what an amazing stay.We were treated like old friends, Karen, Richard and their fabulous daughter couldn’t do enough for us. The food was amazing 10/10 and the tent was stunning as was the hot tub.”
Karen said: “Obviously we are delighted to be named and appreciated by our lovely guests.”
King’s Lynn Camping at North Runcton was also highly rated. Set in ten acres, it has a touring caravan site, lodges and camping pods.
One of the reviews said: “Lovely, friendly staff, who couldn’t have been more helpful shower block clean and spacious.
“Lovely little shop that sells so many things.”
Manor Park, at Hunstanton, offers free parking, a swimming pool, evening entertainment, a kids club and free internet.
One of its reviews stated: “For us the helpfulness and friendliness of all the staff just made our holiday.
The list was completed by sites at Bacton and Yarmouth.
