Pitches: 17 Opening Dates: Easter To October Aberbran Fawr Campsite is situated 3 miles from the historic cathedral town of Brecon just off the A40 and adjacent to the River Usk. It is a level site with easy access and a quiet family atmosphere. There are 12 electric hook-up pitches with ample room for tents and another field for rallies. There are also ample toilet and shower facilities in the new toilet block which includes a dedicated family/ disabled room with ramp access from road, also a washroom for camp cooking utensils with hot and cold water. Being based in the Brecon Beacons National Park we are ideally situated for going on scenic walks. We are also within easy driving distance of local supermarkets, Play barns for children and Dan Y Ogof show caves. From mid June through to August we open for pick your own fruit and vegetables including strawberries, raspberries, redcurrants, blackcurrants, gooseberries, broad-beans, peas and potatoes along with free range eggs and home made jams (when available). Dogs must be kept on a lead in the campsite and not allowed to wander or become a nuisance to other campers. Owners are responsible for cleaning up their own dogs mess. There is a bus stop just up the road from the campsite at the junction with the A40 which can take you into Brecon
