Brighouse Bay has a country park feel and is one of Scotland's top environmental parks. Situated on a quiet secluded peninsula with magnificent views, Brighouse Bay has six amenity, fishing and wildlife ponds and is surrounded by acres and acres of walking country with sign-posted trails through mixed woodland, over our working livestock farm and along the spectacular coastline. With its first class facilities and open all year, Brighouse Bay is the perfect centre for tourers, campers and motorhomes or the ideal place to have your own holiday home. We have quality centrally heated self-catering accommodation available in lodges and holiday home caravans. The lodges, some with luxury hot tubs, are situated in a peaceful area next to the Golf Course or overlooking the wildlife ponds. Alternatively, the Premier, Standard and Budget holiday caravans also offer a comfortable stay as does the Old Mill Cottage. Originally a Farm Cottage, it features the large mill wheel in the sunroom. Also to let are out cosy camping cabins where families can bring the usual essentials but leave their tent at home. The park is a pet-friendly outdoor playground. As well as the extensive network of Coastal and Woodland walks, we have a challenging 18-hole Golf Course which offers glorious cliff top views over the Irish Sea, an outdoor all-weather Bowling Green plus mini indoor bowling in the games room, an indoor swimming pool, jacuzzi, steam room and fitness room with a Cafe and lounge bar to chill out in. Youngsters can share the boating pond with the ducks, beat dad on the putting green or spend hours of enjoyment in the playgrounds. Enjoy free coarse fishing on our wildlife ponds, sea angling from the rocks or in the Bay if you launch from our all tide slipway. Knowledgeable and friendly reception and shop staff can guide you on the many visitor attractions available locally enabling you to get the most of your visit to this delightful scenic corner of scotland. We even have our own TV hook-up system on site which grants access to over 100 channels!
