Clays Touring Park

Pitches: 50 Opening Dates: 1st March To 31st October Clays is a pretty, peaceful, 4 star, family run touring park, set in eighteen acres of lovely welsh countryside. The site is surrounded by Clays golf course & we have two private coarse fishing lakes which are solely for the use of our guests. Fishing is free when a pitch with electric is booked [rod licence required] Facilities- heated toilet/shower block, disabled wet room, laundry, dish washing facilities, fridge & freezer, book swap. On-site Warden. Well behaved dogs are welcome, off-lead dog run on site. NO UNDER 18's UNLESS ACCOMPANIED BY A RESPONSIBLE ADULT. NO LARGE GROUPS UNLESS BY PRIOR AGREEMENT. WE HAVE A 'NO NOISE' POLICY AFTER 11PM. Seasonal pitches with winter storage available [adult only but grandchildren can stay occasionally] Clays 18 hole golf course also has a driving range, academy course, bar, restaurant & golf shop. Our guests are given a discount of 10% when eating in the restaurant and a 20% discount on take away food. The Holt Lodge Hotel with restaurant & carvery is a 5 minute drive. Three local takeaways deliver to the park. Essential provisions are available in reception. We are only a 10 minute drive from Wrexham town and a 20 minute drive from Chester & the lovely town of Llangollen with its steam railway & horse drawn canal boats. We are just 5 miles from the Cheshire border and the lovely villages of Holt & Farndon, both on the banks of the river Dee. Next to our site is 'Giovanna Wellbeing' offering various beauty and holistic therapy treatments, with discounts and special offers available to our guests, ideal for a spot of pampering. Whilst we do not have a play park on site there is an indoor children's play centre called 'Run Around' less than a mile from the site which offers half price entry to our young guests.
