Crannich Holiday Caravans & Touring Site

Pitches: 6 Opening Dates: April To October We offer self-catering holiday caravans & a small friendly campsite for motor-homes, campervans & touring caravans at Crannich Farm within 150 acres of farmland in Glen Aros near Loch Frisa on the Isle of Mull Argyll Scotland. The location is central on the island between Salen & Dervaig with great walks, panoramic views of the glen, walking distance to Loch Frisa and the rivers Aros, & Bellart. Quiet rural setting with good access, pet friendly, with sunrises & sunsets you'll never forget. For bird watching enthusiasts there is an abundance of wildlife around Glen Aros as it is within the territory of Skye & Frisa the famous pair of white tailed eagles featured on BBC Spring watch & Autumn watch. You can also spot golden eagles, hen harrier, barn owls & many other species of birds. Crannich is a working farm with highland cattle and horses & adjoins thousands of acres of Forestry Commission land, easible accessible for walking & cycling. Accommodation comprises of The Touring site which has 6 hard-standings nicely spaced with hook-ups, hot shower, W.C, washing up, drying area & CDP, with stunning views across the glen & down towards the Sound of Mull. The holiday caravans each sleep four people & have their own gardens, picnic tables & gravelled parking areas . The island is famous for its variety of wildlife and there are many opportunities to experience this on many of the fantastic trips or just by watching and discovering at your own pace .
