All pitches enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains and the site is surrounded by woodland in wonderful walking country. Glencoe National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre is very eco-friendly and commemorates the infamous massacre of 1692. It is a short walk from site. Wildlfe Land Rover Safaris are available during the summer. The Glencoe and North Lorn Folk Museum is the only thatched building in the area. Take a ferry across Loch Linnhe from Corran to Ardgour, part of the old trade route, the ÔRoad to the Isles'. The West Highland Way passes within nine miles of the site.
