Haughton House Holiday Park is a large beautiful woodland campsite located within the picturesque 40-hectare Haughton Country Park. Just a 15-minute walk from the many restaurants and shops of Alford village, Haughton offers 71 touring pitches with electric hook-up, plus space for 70 tents. The mansion house also features four spacious self-catering apartments. A friendly smile and a warm welcome await guests, thanks to experienced holiday park owners Hugh and Debbie Ballantyne, who recently took over the park. The couple encourage a relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere where guests are free to enjoy a barbecue, take a round of putting or go for a quiet stroll along the River Don, which is especially popular with fishermen and canoeists. The park boasts two children's playgrounds and kids of all ages love riding on the Alford Valley Railway narrow-gauge train.
