About this site

Pitches: 45 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 02/11 A peaceful haven in the Scottish Borders If you are looking for a quiet, sheltered haven, Jedburgh is the perfect site. More than just an overnight stop on the way to or from Scotland, it's a lovely place to stay to explore the history and countryside of the Scottish Borders. The town of Jedburgh is around a mile's walk from the site. Jedburgh Castle Jail is now a museum. Mary Queen of Scots House is also a museum, celebrating her life. Bonnie Prince Charlies House is on the Town Trail, as is the Friary. Jedforest Deer and Farm Park also houses Jedforest Falconry, where visitors can try hawking or flying and handling owls under supervision. Monteviot House Garden has beautiful views of the River Teviot and the countryside beyond. Borderland Fabrics is just outside the site. It runs workshops on quilting and patchwork as well as stocking a wide range of fabrics. The grounds of Hirsel House include riverside walks and Geo-Gems - a display of Scottish gemstones - alongside a number of craft units with local craftworkers. Floors Castle is on a natural terrace overlooking the River Tweed and facing the Cheviot Hills. For more information please visit our website . Member price from: £6.10 per person per night
