Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 6 Opening Dates: 01/03 To 31/10 A small family run campsite on the beautiful Isle of Anglesey. Mount View offers large sized pitches catering for Caravans, Motorhomes, Trailer Tents, Camper Vans and Tents, all with EHU's and individual Water points. With country views all around it is very private and secluded, and a very safe environment for those visitors with children. In 2017 we built a childrens play area, and we also introduced free WIFI along with CCTV, in operation for both safety and security reasons. We also started hiring out Log Burners, a nice way to keep the night going that little bit longer, enjoying a chat and a beer, or simply looking at the stars through the clear night sky. Planned for 2018 will be a new BBQ area, including a wood burning Pizza oven. If the weather allows we will also be constructing a new dog kennels & cattery, for the use of our guests when they want to go somewhere that isnt pet friendly. In 2018 we are also starting a "Rent A Tent" scheme, where people can experience camping by just turning up and having everything ready and waiting for them. We are also planning to offer special offer mid week breaks (at certain times of the year) where its pay for 3 nights but stay for 4. Please refer to our web site for more info on these deals. Mount View is situated on the outskirts of Amlwch, a small town offering various local amenities, coffee shops, restaurants, pubs, craft & gift shops. Everything you need for a quiet relaxing break, and ideally situated to enjoy all of Anglesey's attractions. Within walking distance to a couple of the towns local pubs, Mount View is ideally situated for both the short and longer term breaks. Close by are numerous costal walks and cycle routes, and within a short distance of a number of secluded beaches. Amlwch is situated on the northern coastal path of Anglesey, and is around 20 miles from the town of Holyhead, with its country parks and historic museums. Why not take a day trip to Ireland during your stay? To the south and over the Menai Bridge lies Bangor and all of its attractions. Visit the South Stack lighthouse & cliffs or the RSPB reserve We look forward to your visit in 2018 & really hope you enjoy your stay at Mount View. PS. A BIG thank you to all our 2017 visitors, you made our summer all the more pleasurable, and we look forward to your return, and for those that left comments and feedback....WOW, thats all I can say.
