About this site
Pitches: 70 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 26/10 "Enjoy the beauty of Scotland's west coast and islands" Our Oban Club Site is in a beautiful, Victorian walled vegetable garden - about 13 miles from the town of the same name. Behind the panelled gates, the sheltered site is next to Sutherlands Grove. You may even spot a pine marten on one of the local trails. Sutherlands Grove is criss-crossed by colour-coded walks and cycle paths. The town of Oban is to the south, where you can take a ferry to one of the Western Isles. The Isle of Mull's main town is Tobermory, the backdrop for the children's TV series Balamory. It is also home to Torosay Castle and Gardens. The Isle of Kerrera is just off Oban. There is a lovely six-mile walk around the south of the island. Seals and cormorants, and even stags on the hillsides can be seen from a cruise on the sea loch, Etive. Dunnstaffnage Castle overlooks the Bay. There are walks in the area, though the gatehouse is reserved for the Captain of Dunnstaffnage. The Scottish Sealife Centre is less than three minutes' drive from Site. A busy rescue centre for seals, it also has an otter creek. For more information please visit our website . Member price from: £6.10 per person per night
