Slatebarns Caravan Park

Slatebarns caravan park (no tent pitches) is a peaceful, sheltered, family run park which is on the edge of Roslin Glen and right next door to the famous Rosslyn Chapel (featured in the Di Vinci Code movie). It has a choice of level hardstanding and grass pitches. We are on the outskirts of Edinburgh, approximately 5 minutes from the Edinburgh City Bypass. A few minutes walk up Chapel Loan takes you to the heart of the village where you will find the local village pub which serves food all day both in the lounge and beer garden. It is child, dog and horse friendly! There is a post office selling fresh rolls daily, a couple of craft shops and a Co-op store. There are plenty of walks around the area and a short bus ride takes you into Edinburgh City Centre. Horseriding, swimming, hillwalking, fishing, golf and ski-ing (artificial slope),are all on our doorstep to enjoy.
