It overlooks Thurso Bay and the Orkney Isles can be seen in the distance. The North Link Ferry Terminal at Scrabster Harbour is only 3km away. Facilities: Electric Hookups; Motorhome Service Point; Individual Changing and Shower Rooms, Disabled Toilet and Shower Room; Hair Dryer and Electric Shave Points; Laundry Facilities, Dishwashing Area; WiFi available; BT hotspot zone. Offsite: There are 4 banks with ATMs available within a short distance, as well as numerous supermarkets, pubs, shops, etc. There is a bus stop next to the campsite, and taxis will pick up and drop passengers in our car park. The Blue Door Coffee Shop & Diner, located on-site, is Thurso's indie burger joint, coffee shop, and ice cream parlour all rolled into one. It serves original beef burgers, hot dogs, fish 'n fries as well as its own artisan ice cream and specialty milk shakes and coffee. Opening times: THURSDAYS (10AM to 3PM); FRIDAYS (10AM to 2PM, 5PM to 8PM); SATURDAYS (9AM to 7PM); and SUNDAYS (10AM to 2PM). Take-away available (great food and the great outdoors from the comfort of your tent, caravan, or motorhome). We are a BT hotspot zone and Wi-Fi is free.
