About this site

Pitches: 10 Opening Dates: 1st April - 31st October Mike & Sylvia Huntbach would like to welcome you to Trench Farm. We are a small touring park with three coarse fishing lakes exclusively for the enjoyment of people staying at trench, we offer full facilities to cater for all. So if you are into touring or camping we hope you will not be disappointed! Trench Farm is set in 150 acres of farm & woodland with some lovely country walks. We are a dog friendly site so those wishing to bring their pets with them are welcome (providing they are kept on leads while on the park) our guests can be provided with a map of the farm if they wish to walk their dogs off lead. We hire out Firepits, Logs can also be purchased. By not being too clinical over the past years and allowing our hedge rows to grow has helped to create a haven for various species of bird, insects etc. Other animals you may also catch a glimpse of are Hares, Badgers, Foxes, Water Voles Owls etc. This spring saw the completion of our 50 acre solar farm, those interested in renewable energy are welcome to walk around the site (by the way this also makes a great dog walk) and will further add to the wildlife we already have as the land will now lie undisturbed! Our fisheries have now been open for almost 30 years, we were one of the first farms in our area to open coarse fishing lakes to the public. Our pools contain a good mixture of Mirror, Common and Crucian Carp along with Tench, Rudd and Roach, so your catch could be anything from 1 lb to double figures! Over the years the fishery has created an ideal habitat for various wildlife therefore do not be surprised when out walking or fishing you see a bright flash of blue/green as a kingfisher darts by, dragon & damsel flies are also abundant in the summer months, during the month of May the Flag Iris around the waters edge can only be described as stunning! If you love to fish or just need to get away for a quiet break, we believe we have the perfect setting for just that and we look forward to welcoming you soon.
