Opening Dates: Easter To October Situated in the foothills of southern Snowdonia, this site is situated amidst breathtaking scenery alongside the Mawddach river. Cader Idris rises majestically to the south whilst the valley opens from the north to form the wide estuary leading to the sea at Barmouth. Forming part of a working hill farm surrounding a 12th century cistercian monastery, Cymer Abbey (right), the camping site caters for touring caravans, motor homes and tents, with electric hook-ups available. here are toilets, showers, razor points and hot water. Calor gas is sold on site. The site is open from 1st of April / Easter to the end of October.
