Pitches: 70 Opening Dates: 1 May To 26 September This friendly, family run Site over looks Wick River and is a very quiet, secluded, picturesque Site and as it is surrounded by trees, it is probably one of the most sheltered Sites in Caithness. This Touring Park is licenced for 70 pitches, of which 15 are hard standings and the rest is level grass area. There are 42 electric hook ups. The showering facilities are equipped with hair dryers, automatic hand dryers and shaver points. Also on Site are dish washing sinks and two chemical disposal points, one of which is drive over. There is also a small shop, telephone booth and tourist information room. Next to the Site is a small childrens play area. Our Site welcomes Caravans, Motor homes, Trailer Tents and Tents. However, if your vehicle is higher than 2.89m please contact the Warden for information relating to the alternative access route which allows access for high sided vehicles. Dogs are also welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times. We have a warden staying on site overnight. This Site is a pleasant ten minute walk away from the town centre where there are various shops, restaurants and food take away facilities. The Laundrette, indoor Swimming Pool, local heritage centre, harbour and the Pulteney Distillery are all nearby. There is an 18 hole golf course and 3 miles of beautiful sandy beach within the vicinity. This Site is also very popular with people who wish to go fishing on our local river or lochs.
