Pitches: 20 Opening Dates: Easter To October Y Gelli Campsite is a 'Nearly Wild', back to basics glamp site in South West Wales for those who just want to get away from everyday life! Set in 8 acres of natural woodland on a hillside with stunning views over the River Teifi and valley. We enjoy welcoming like minded campers who want to see wildlife in its natural setting and enjoy the peace and tranquility of 'nearly wild camping'. We can offer a variety of pitches depending on the level of 'wildness' you enjoy. Most pitches have a slight to medium slope due to the geography of our location, but this allows for stunning views in all directions. We accept tents, hammocks and also offer Bell Tents. We offer pre-set bell tents in idyllic natural woodland pitches. All bell tents come complete with a comfortable double bed, 2 fold out chair beds, outdoor tyre seats and a fire pit. We even provide cups, plates, cutlery and kettle/pans for use on the fire pit. _ We are able to offer hammock taster breaks where you can use our equipment before purchasing for yourself. We are also offering bell tents for those who want to 'glamp' in the woodlands rather than wild camp! _ With our outstanding views and beautiful, unspoilt woodland, it is a magical place for a short break away from it all. All pitches can use fire pits or camp fires during your stay but fire safety precautions must be taken. Fire pits are available to hire on site. Water is available from the outside tap on the yard. Porta-loos are located at each pitch We have no light pollution so can offer dark sky areas for those who like to stargaze.
