About this site

Adventure Camping Devon is a hilltop tent and lodge campsite set at The Ultimate Adventure Centre in Abbotsham, near Bideford in North Devon, with an activity centre right beside the pitches. The site sits on high ground with wide views that stretch from rolling farmland to the rugged coast, a mile or so from Bideford and within reach of the surfing beach at Westward Ho. There are three separate camping areas with plenty of room to pitch tents, campervans, motorhomes and caravans, plus premium hardstanding pitches with electric hook-up for campervans, and Atlantic Lodges and Timber Huts for anyone who wants a roof and a bit more comfort. This is a spot built around doing things, so it suits families, groups and residentials happy to have a high wall, zip wire, mountain boarding and a Total Wipeout style assault course on the doorstep, and it is not the place for campers after a quiet, remote retreat. A café serves hot and cold food through the day, and there is a group firepit and Chiminea hut for evenings. Dogs are welcome. Tent pitches start from £9.50 per person per night and campervan pitches from £25 a night for two, booked through the operator's own calendar.
