About this site
Pitches: 25 Opening Dates: May To September Hilltop site overlooking Rhosneigr on the coast of Anglesey Wreck-diving, mountain walks and sea-fishing within a half-hour drive A five-minute drive from lake fishing, shops, pubs and watersports Want views? Want simple, spick and span facilities a few minutes drive from the sea, the shops, the pub and within easy access of ancient monuments, coastal walks, wildlife and watersports? Youll want Afallon Caravan Park. This site on the Isle of Anglesey in north Wales is on a hill overlooking the seaside village of Rhosneigr, the lake of Llyn Maelog and the Irish Sea. The roomy pitches combine with the massive skies overhead to create a feeling of space and freedom; you could almost be on the prow of a ship heading out to sea... Its a newly-built site, with top-notch toilets and plentiful hot showers. You can park up where you stay, and youre welcome to bring your barbecues and dogs along with you. Its a five-minute drive into Rhosneigr (or a 40-minute walk if the great outdoors has got into your bones) for shops, pubs, cafes, a surf school and the wide sandy beach. Just behind the town Llyn Maelig looks like a lagoon, but its a freshwater lake, full of carp and roach, bream and tench; its south bank is open to coarse fishers with day permits.
