This attractive, well maintained family-friendly site is perfectly placed for Alton Towers theme park - just a mile from site. Similarly those who enjoy heading off into the great outdoors will not be disappointed with some great walking country right on the doorstep. While Stoke-on-Trent may not be an obvious tourist destination you can see the Anglo-Saxon treasures of The Staffordshire Hoard at The Potteries Museum and Art Gallery here. Theres also the Wedgewood Visitor Centre full of artefacts, some dating back to Josiah Wedgewood - the man who started the pottery industry as we know it today. The Ramblers Retreat country restaurant and coffee house in Alton sells homemade meals.
