Apple Blossom Caravan and Camping Site is a small, family-run park near Carlton on the North Yorkshire and East Riding border, a short drive from Goole and the market town of Snaith. Lisa and Dean Howsam opened the site in 2019 and run it as a quiet, respectful, family-friendly spot rather than a party site, so there are no stag or hen groups and no large group bookings. You can choose grass or hardstanding touring pitches with 10-amp electric hook-ups, or pitch a tent in the meadow, which opens from mid-March to October. Facilities sit in a converted stable block with five showers, a family wet room with disabled access, an indoor washing-up area and a dog-paw wash for muddy walks. Dogs are genuinely welcome here, and there is a small play park and football nets in the meadow for children under twelve. The Old Stables Bar sits right on site, a self-service coffee pod runs around the clock, and fire pits and chimineas are allowed on a fireproof stand. The Trans Pennine Trail runs past for walkers and cyclists, and Snaith's country pubs and micro-brewery are close by. Apple Blossom is open all year, with meadow tents from £25 a night and hook-up pitches from £31.50, and a deposit secures a direct booking.
