Barncroft Caravan Site

This is an adults only site Pitches: 20+ Opening Dates: 2nd W/end March To End October Barncroft caravan site is(now a ADULT ONLY site see conditions for children visits in seasonal pitch offers) set up for a no fuss holiday for the more discerning customer. We do not have any bars/clubs on site or children playgrounds,which creates a peaceful select environment in the beautiful Shropshire countryside. We have large ornamental gardens,with extensive seasonal floral displays to complement them ,which guests are able to view at their leisure. Extensive tree planting has been done around the site to compliment the large woodlands to the north of the site ,which is a wildlife haven for mammals and birds which are either resident to the site or make regular visits,these include badgers,foxes,many varieties of birds (including wood peckers that come to several feed stations around the site). The site is entered through a double width entrance offering excellent access from the public highway via an electric pin coded gate (for additional peace of mind) to all well kept hard surfaced driveways, leading to your double hard standing pitch, each with individual electric hook-up points which are spaced to give ample additional parking to the side of your caravan/awning ,without feelings on top of your neighbour. Fresh water and waste disposal points are conveniently located around the site,and waste re-cycling is strongly encouraged at all disposal stations. A fully serviced toilet/shower block (NEW 2018), with separate male/female showers are kept clean and tidy (there is a small charge towards the showers),both genders are accessible via a small ramp. Public transport is available from outside the site entrance ,with a regular service running both ways between the market town of Oswestry and the mediaeval town of Shrewsbury(times tables available on the site notice boards). We have several good local pubs, serving local ales and foods.The nearest in the village of Ruyton-X1-towns being approximatley 3/10 of a mile. The village also as a local general food/newspaper store ,with additional food take-away outlets,pubs & stores available at Baschurch village (a further 1& 1/2 mile through the village). Pets are welcome but must remain on a lead at all times(we reserve the write to alter this if problems arise). wi-fi is available when available,but due to a very slow broadband speed, certain restrictions are at the owners discretion.
