Birch Trees Farm Certificated Location

Birch Trees Farm Certificated Location is an adults-only touring pitch at Ansty, near Haywards Heath in West Sussex, set on a 2.5 acre lawned field landscaped with specimen trees since it opened in 1981. The site was temporarily closed and reopened for the 2026 season on 1 July, running through to 1 October, so this is not a year-round pitch. It sits within walking distance across fields of Cuckfield, a village with shops, pubs and restaurants, and within easy reach of Ashdown Forest, Ditchling Beacon, the Jack and Jill windmills and the National Trust gardens at Nymans, Wakehurst Place and Sheffield Park. Up to five caravans or motorhomes can hook up at Birch Trees Farm, with hardstanding available for members who prefer it, and a two night minimum stay applies. One dog is allowed by prior arrangement with the owner, at £3 a night donated to Sussex Air Ambulance, so this suits couples touring with a single well-behaved dog more than families or groups with several pets. There is no shop or play area, in keeping with its quiet, adults-only character: the draw is the setting and the walking rather than a checklist of amenities. Only Caravan and Motorhome Club members can book, directly with the owner.
