Browns Caravan Park

Browns Caravan Park is a family run touring and holiday home park at Cayton Bay on the North Yorkshire coast, three miles south of Scarborough and known for immaculately kept grounds and a proper on-site pub. The park sits off Mill Lane between Scarborough and Filey, with Cayton Bay's surfing beach a short walk away and a bus stop directly outside the entrance for services along the coast. The touring field takes caravans and motorhomes only, so tent campers need to look elsewhere, but tourers get roomy pitches that all carry 10 amp hook-ups and TV connection points; single pitches have concrete runners and awning pitches are gravel hardstanding, which keeps wet spells manageable. The static holiday homes are all privately owned with no hire fleet, and that keeps Browns noticeably calm even at peak times. Facilities cover free hot showers, a washing-up room, chemical disposal, a motorhome grey waste bay, a launderette, a shop, a games room, a football pitch, a children's play area and a dog walk, while the TOWBAR pub serves food and drink on site. Regulars praise the spotless facilities and the friendly welcome at check-in. The touring season runs from 1 March to 29 November, with 2026 pitches from £27 a night for a car and up to four people.
