About this site
Pitches: 250 Opening Dates: February 28th 2020 To January 3rd 2021 Closed from 3rd Nov 2019 except for seasonals. Reopens - 28th February 2020 until Jan 3rd 2021 Budle Bay Campsite is a rural/coastal campsite accommodating touring caravans, motor homes, campervans, trailer tents and tents on grass and hard standing pitches. It also has two basic bunkhouses, 12 hut's and a small childrens play area. We are mostly a grass site though we also have 20+ hard standing and grass reenforced pitches too allowing us to be an all year round site. We have added to our stock of huts with 5 bigger huts which have commanding view of our beautiful river valley. 2 of these larger huts are for couples and come with a double bed and space for travel cots and the like. The remaining 3 are unigue in that they have a separate double bedroom from the bunk bed sleeping area to allow privacy for a couple. These huts can sleep up to 7. We do allow dogs in several of them. There is a cooking hut for the sole use of those using the huts. Having full sized beds, electric points,a fridge, a microwave, a kettle and fully insulated and spacious they suit those who enjoying camping with more comforts and weather protection than a tent provides. Simply bring your own bedding, cooking and eating utensils plus food and enjoy your stay whatever the weather. We are open throughout Christmas and the New Year too. With the Holy Island of Lindisfarne, The Farne Islands, Bamburgh and Dunstanburgh Castles, The Coastal Cycle Route, Alnwich Castle and the coastal splender of this area of Outstanding Natural Beauty on the doorstep of the Budle Bay Caravan and Camping site, you will be spoilt for things to do without having to drive long distances. Budle Bay Campsite itself is in a quiet location just inside the tiny village of Waren Mill, 5 minutes from the A1. We are family owned, friendly, low key touring caravan and camping site in a picturesque tree lined Northumberland valley some 200m from the sea at Budle Bay itself and only 2 miles north of the spectacular village of Bamburgh with its coastal castle dominating the 16 miles of golden sand dunes and beaches.
