California Chalet & Touring Park

Pitches: 38 Opening Dates: All Year The site of the Park was originally part of Windsor Forest and was a favourite hunting ground of the Tudors. In time it became a popular leisure centre known throughout the South of the UK as 'California in England', eventually being designated by the Countryside Commission as a Country Park. In 1985 the 5-acre Chalet & Touring Park was privately purchased and is now a picturesque, quiet retreat for family holiday relaxation. Open from 1 January - 31 December. We are ideally situated for visiting such places as London,and surrounding areas.Legoland and Windsor are 30 minutes by car.Train stations are 3miles (5km) away.Trains into london direct line 1hr. We are undergoing major improvements to the park throughout this winter.In time for spring 2012 and the Olympic Games. We will be improving the pitches chalets and shower block.The office will be open 9am to 9pm from 1st Jan 2012.The Chalets comprise of 2bedroom, shower with hand basin and toilet,kitchen/diner and lounge.They are fully furnished and equipped with TV Fridge Microwave and all utensils and duvets and pillows are provided.We have Chalets overlooking the Lake with parking.All our premium caravan pitches have Electricity, Water, Drain and Parking.California Chalet & Touring Park is a perfect base for visiting London and surrounding areas during Olympics 2012.We are providing complimentary transport to and from local train stations during the Olympics for all our visitors
