Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 160 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 02/11 Sheltered from the fenland winds, our Cambridge Site is a great base for exploring - especially by bike because the area is so flat. Wildlife lovers should look out for the woodpeckers and muntjac deer. Cambridge is best known for its university. Wander round the colleges or check out the shopping centre. A Park and Ride bus stop is a mile from the Site. The best view of the city is said to be found from the tower of Great St Marys church. The village of Great Shelford is just over a mile from Site and has a supermarket, Post Office and bank. There are also a number of pubs serving food. The countryside is perfect for cyclists. Many roads have cycle paths. An old sewage pumping station is now home to the Cambridge Museum of Technology, which includes material used or invented in the Cambridge area. The pretty village of Grantchester was immortalised in the poem by Rupert Brooke. Enjoy cream teas in the apple orchard. For more information please visit our website . Member price from: £7.60 per person per night
