Formerly a Lakeland hill farm, Castlerigg Hall has been sympathetically developed into a quality touring park providing a wide range of modern facilities. Many of the park facilities, such as "the Campers Kitchen", "Campers Store" and the Campers Sitting Room are barn conversions which have retained a unique Lakeland feel with oak beams, slate floors and old farming memorabilia. The screened campfield is level and sloping and has some views of Bassenthwaite lake. A new facility building features underfloor heating, large shower rooms and privacy wash cubicles. Our location, 1 mile from Keswick, is the ideal base to explore the Central Lake District with many scenic walks available directly from the site. A family run park, Castlerigg Hall caters for families and couples only.
