Pitches: 15 Opening Dates: Open All Year This is a quiet site for families and couples, ideally located for visiting York and the surrounding area. Whilst we welcome children please be aware that we have no designated play areas for ball games etc. and as the road and hardstandings are angular gravel they are unsuitable for children's bikes and scooters. Although we are now a Listed Site with The Camping and Caravanning Club we have retained all the charm of a Certificated Site. Our pitch price for 1 to 3 nights is £18.50 including 16amp EHU, 2 adults, awning (or pup tent) dogs and car. Extra adults are £2.50pn, max 4 adults per pitch. Please see offers page for reductions for stays of 4 nights or more. Please note, pitch fees are increased annually in November. ALL PITCH FEES are the same throughout the year. WE HAVE FIBRE WIFI ON SITE, AND ITS FREE !!! PLEASE NOTE, WE HAVE NO SHOWER OR TOILET FACILITIES. WE HAVE A CIRCULAR ACCESS ROAD TO 15 HARD-STANDING PITCHES, ENABLING US TO TAKE ADVANCE BOOKINGS FOR CARAVANS AND MOTOR-HOMES THROUGHOUT THE WINTER SEASON, ALL WITH 16A EHU. We are on the outskirts of the lovely villages of Nether and Upper Poppleton, yet within walking distance of great restaurants and local pubs. The site is close to excellent public transport links to York and Harrogate and has a dedicated cycle route from outside the site into York city centre and to many other destinations. We allow dogs providing they are well behaved and kept on a lead whilst on site. We have free range chickens and ducks that roam nearby. (Eggs are usually for sale) We are a Camping and Caravanning Club Listed Site and welcome visitors all year round in tourers and motor-homes. You do not have to be a member of any Club to stay at Cherry Tree Cottage Caravan Site. The field is flat and very well drained.
