About this site

Cherry Tree Springs is an adults-only, five-star touring park at Sutton on Sea, near Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire, a calm hardstanding site set in open countryside just a 15-minute walk from the beach. The park takes touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents, but it does not accept tents, commercial vehicles or groups of more than two units, so it stays firmly geared to couples after peace and quiet. There are 60 generously sized hardstanding pitches, all with electric hookup and some fully serviced with a fresh water tap and waste drain, and the heated five-star facilities include free hot showers, private cubicles, hairdryers, shaving points, washing-up sinks and a laundry room. Being for over 18s only, Cherry Tree Springs is a grown-up base rather than a family park, though up to two dogs are welcome, with a dog exercise area at the entrance and a footpath leading to the dog-friendly beach. The coast is the headline draw here, with the sands at Sutton on Sea and Mablethorpe both within easy reach and Skegness a short drive south. Arrivals run from 1pm, with a last arrival of 8pm on Fridays and 6pm on other days. The park is open from 1 March to 3 January, with pitches from £26.50 a night, booked by phone.

Good to know

Can you pitch a tent at Cherry Tree Springs?
No, Cherry Tree Springs does not accept tents. The park welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes and trailer tents on its hardstanding pitches, but it cannot take tents, commercial vehicles or groups of more than two units, so it is aimed squarely at self-contained touring units.
Is Cherry Tree Springs adults only?
Yes, Cherry Tree Springs is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over, so it is a quiet, grown-up park with no facilities for children. It suits couples looking for peace in rural surroundings near the coast, and groups are limited to no more than two units.
Are dogs allowed at Cherry Tree Springs?
Yes, up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. There is a small dog exercise area at the entrance to the site and a nearby footpath that leads to a dog-friendly stretch of beach, so it works well for a coastal break with your dog.
How far is the beach from Cherry Tree Springs?
The beach is about a 15-minute walk from the park along the coastal path, at Sutton on Sea. Mablethorpe and its sands are a short distance north, and Skegness is an easy drive south, so the whole Lincolnshire coast is within reach for day trips.
How much does Cherry Tree Springs cost and when is it open?
Pitches start from £26.50 a night, though prices vary by season, and booking is by phone on 01507 441626. The park is open from 1 March to 3 January, so it closes for a short winter break. Arrivals run from 1pm, with a last arrival of 8pm on Fridays.
Do the pitches have electric hook-ups?
Yes, all 60 hardstanding pitches have electric hookup, and some are fully serviced with a fresh water tap and waste drain. The heated five-star facilities include free hot showers with private cubicles, hairdryers, shaving points, washing-up sinks and a fully equipped laundry room.
