Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 90 Opening Dates: 01/04 to 02/11 The town of Crowborough was developed as a resort on the edge of Ashdown Forest in Victorian Times. The views across the Forest are superb. The towns and beaches of the south coast are only 20 miles away. Crowborough town is a ten-minute walk from the site. It has a good range of shops and several places to eat. Crowborough Leisure Centre is next to the site. It offers discounts to campers who would like to use the swimming pool. There is a mini steam train - operating on Saturdays in high season - and a boating lake just outside the site. Four steam railway lines are close by, including the Bluebell Railway and the Spa Valley Railway. Eastbourne and Hastings have safe beaches and many attractions for all the family. A bus from outside the site will take you to Tunbridge Wells, Brighton or Lewes. Ashdown Forest is home to a Llama Park and the Pooh Sticks bridge which appears in AA Milne's Winnie the Pooh. For more information please visit our website . Member price from: £7.60 per person per night
