About this site

Dans Meadow is a small Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site pitched in meadowland beside the River Fynn at Martlesham, about two miles from Woodbridge in Suffolk. Being a Certificated Site, it is for Club members, and there are five pitches with electric and TV hook-up plus a further six hook-up pitches out on the meadow for on-field camping. Caravans, motorhomes, trailer tents, fifth wheels and tents are all taken, access is easy for larger units, and you come in through locked electric gates with CCTV and a code given to you when you book. Arrivals run Monday to Friday and only pre-booked guests are admitted, so if you fancy rolling up on a Saturday, ring the office first and get it sorted in advance. Families are welcome and the facilities are the strong suit here: a toilet and shower block, an accessible wet room with baby changing, and a utility area with sink, worktop, hot water and a fridge freezer. The Club nominated Dans Meadow for Best CS for Facilities in 2022 and 2023. The Red Lion is about 250 yards away for an evening meal, Sutton Hoo is roughly ten minutes by car, and Felixstowe with its beach and pier is about fifteen minutes from Martlesham. The site is open all year at one inclusive price of £30 a night, covering two adults, two children, your car and awning, electric hook-up and the showers.
