About this site
Pitches: 36 Opening Dates: March To October Doward Park is a small family site located in the Wye Valley near Symonds Yat, between Ross-on-Wye and Monmouth. The site is surrounded by woodland in a designated "Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty". The river, the forest and Symonds Yat are all within walking distance. A short stroll from the site and you can be in King Arthur's Cave - or sat on top of the Seven Sisters Rocks. There is a cyclepath from Symonds Yat East to Monmouth along the track of the old Wye Valley Railway, this is easily reached along the track which runs past the campsite down to the Biblins suspension bridge. We have free hot showers, washing-up, along with gas bottle exchange and a shop selling essentials. There is a play area set in out own enclosed woods for the children. Dogs accepted only if kept on leash ALL the time on-site and exercised on the public footpath surrounding the site. Group bookings are advised to give reception a call.
