About this site

Ecclesden Farm Caravan and Camping is a family run campsite within a working 325 acre farm in the South Downs National Park at Angmering, West Sussex, just one mile off the A27. You pitch up across two grass and hardstanding fields, each with its own toilet and shower block and hot water for washing up, plus electric hook-up points in both fields. Tents and vans are welcome from Easter to October, while caravans and motorhomes can pitch here right through the winter too. Ecclesden Farm suits families and couples after a proper countryside base with easy road access, though anyone wanting a pool, bar or nightly entertainment should look elsewhere, as this is a working farm first and a campsite second. Hire a fire pit for the evening, let the kids loose on the playground, and on busy weekends a pop-up food caterer saves you cooking. Public footpaths lead straight off the site into the surrounding South Downs countryside, brilliant for a morning walk before breakfast. A short drive brings you to the beaches at Goring-by-Sea, Littlehampton and Worthing, and Arundel with its castle and wetlands centre makes a proper day trip. Several pubs sit within walking distance. Book ahead for peak weekends.
