It is situated by the sea and close to a country park in a small village on Mersea Island. There are 85 fully serviced static owner occupied caravans on the park, as well as tourers, tents or motor caravans. There are 70 electricity hook up points available on the site. Hot water is available at all times and there are no extra charges for the use of toilets and showers. There are special toilet and shower facilities for people with disabilities, and within this facility there is a baby-changing unit. With no club and no pool, people who come to Fen Farm do so for the tranquil atmosphere and children often surprise themselves by finding an occupation that does not involve anything being switched on or booted up! There are always the two play area with swings, seesaws and slides. In addition to this children enjoy crabbing in the nearby creeks, playing on the beach or in the sea.
