About this site
Flower Meadow Caravan Site is a small caravan site recorded at Flower Meadow, Haycrafts Lane, Harmans Cross, between Corfe Castle and Swanage on the Isle of Purbeck. Haycrafts Lane is also the address of the Swanage Railway's Harman's Cross station, which opened in 1989 and was the first new station built in Dorset since the days of steam, so heritage trains to Corfe Castle and Swanage run within walking distance. Footpaths from Harman's Cross lead south to the Jurassic Coast, into the Purbeck stone quarrying country, and on to Corfe and Swanage. Beyond the location, we could not verify anything about Flower Meadow Caravan Site from an operator source. It has no website or social page that we could find, it does not appear on Dorset Council's register of licensed caravan and camping sites for the Purbeck area, and neither national club lists it publicly. Small five van certificated sites are exempt from council licensing, which would explain that absence, and absence from an index is not proof of closure. Check directly before planning a trip to Harmans Cross.
