Pitches: 32 Opening Dates: Open All Year Folly Farm is a non-working farm with 10 acres of beautiful countryside flanked by woodland. We offer a small family run Touring-Caravan Park and Campsite with level grassy pitches, electric hook up and good clean facilities, only a short bus or car journey from all that Winchester has to offer with its shopping, restaurants and museums. We strive to maintain the quiet and tranquil atmosphere of the site so that our visitors can relax and enjoy their stay in this beautiful rural setting without the disturbance of noisy entertainment. Our peaceful location is perfectly positioned for walking, cycling, bird-watching, nature spotting and quiet enjoyment of the lovely Hampshire countryside. There are three local pubs serving delicious home cooked food in the surrounding villages of Crawley, Sparsholt & Littleton. Ideally situated to explore the local area which includes the famous Watercress Steam Railway, the National Trust properties and grounds of Mottisfont Abbey and Hinton Ampner, the beautiful Hillier Gardens and the pretty Hampshire town of Stockbridge, with Danebury Ring, an Iron Age Hill Fort. Nearby you can also try your hand at pottery or deco-patch at Poppies Crafts, or discover Winchester Science Centre & Planetarium, take the kids to Paultons Park, home of Peppa Pig World or visit Marwell Zoo. Although we welcome dogs we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and not allowed to foul the site. There is a lovely walk from Folly Farm, through woodland and downland, to Farley Mount Country Park.
