Forest Oak Farm

Pitches: 40 Opening Dates: 1 April - 31 October Forest Oak Farm is a family run 20 acre farm estate run by the Dodson Family. We are a small, pet friendly site conveniently located between the shores of River Severn and the Picturesque Royal Forest of Dean. We are in walking distance of the town of Lydney and a short drive away from many lovely walks, cycling tracks and tourist attractions. We like to continually improve the site for our customers. Last year we created two off lead dog exercise areas and in May 2019 we opened a new washing up room and disabled toilet. We are now working on a new toilet, shower and laundry block to be opened this Summer. There are new paths which run along side the lake and the stream into the trees, allowing the dogs to cool off with a paddle after a run in the exercise area. Next year we will start work on a small glamping space nestled in the trees. The site is also home to a number of spacious, dog friendly holiday apartments. Also large indoor and outdoor venue space which can be hired for weddings, events and rallies. We have a heated toilets/shower unit and a chemical waste disposal point. We have a limited number of electric hook ups and seven new hard standings as well as grassed pitches. At the bottom of the camping area is our beautiful lake and new picnic area (May 2019).
