It was created out of an old quarry surrounded by an embankment of trees and shrubs. There is a diversity of wild life around the site and in the woods that surround the site where you can take a gentle stroll. Gate House Wood is an ideal base to explore the countryside of Kent with its many attractions. We look forward to welcoming you onto our family run, friendly site with an informal atmosphere. Our pitches are spacious, level and free draining. Purpose built toilet block (equipped with hand dryers and shaving points) Free hot showers Separate disabled room All heated during early and late season Childrens play area Two purpose built brick BBQs Direct chemical disposable point for motor homes Well stocked Park Shop Fully equipped automatic laundry Visitors car park Early/late arrivals area We are sorry, but pets are not allowed There is a pathway around site. There is also a local footpath adjacent to the park.
