About this site

Established in 1999 and still family run, Gralyn's Caravan Park is a quiet touring site on the edge of Eyke, three miles from the market town of Woodbridge in Suffolk. Every pitch is level and comes with electric hook-up plus room for a car and awning, and the flat rate covers a caravan, awning, car and two adults with two children, which makes the sums refreshingly easy. Tents and motorhomes pay the same, and a lodge is available if you would rather not bring your own roof. Gralyn's suits campers who want a calm base rather than entertainment: there is no bar, no pool and no clubhouse, just toilets, showers and washing facilities (coin operated, so keep 20p and £1 coins handy), an accessible toilet and shower, a small shop and play areas for children. Dogs are welcome on the pitches provided they stay on a lead. The location is the real draw: Rendlesham Forest's trails are an easy walk, Sutton Hoo is five minutes by car or fifteen by bike, the Suffolk coast beaches at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are twenty minutes away, and the village pub is a mile off. The park opens from 1 February to 20 December, weather depending, with the main season running April to October, and pitches are £30 a night.

Good to know

Is Gralyn's Caravan Park open all year?
No, the park is open from 1 February to 20 December, weather depending, rather than all year round. The main season runs April to October. Seasonal pitches can be taken by the individual month at £450, or from £2,000 for a seven-month 2026 season, subject to availability.
How much does it cost to stay at Gralyn's Caravan Park?
Pitches are £30 a night, covering a caravan, awning, car and two adults with two children, with electric included. A week is £180. Tents and motorhomes are charged at the same rate. Each additional person is £3 a night and late check-out until 3pm is £5.
Are dogs allowed at Gralyn's Caravan Park?
Yes, well behaved dogs are welcome on the pitches. They must be kept on a lead at all times while on site, and you are asked to clear up after them and keep them off the neighbouring farmland. Rendlesham Forest is close by for a proper walk.
Do the pitches at Gralyn's Caravan Park have electric hook-up?
Yes, every pitch is level and comes with electric hook-up plus space for your car and an awning, and the electricity is included in the nightly price rather than metered separately. Caravan storage is also available through the year if you contact the staff about it.
What facilities are on site at Gralyn's Caravan Park?
There are toilets, showers and washing facilities, with the showers and washing operated on 20p and £1 coins, so bring change. A full accessible toilet and shower are on site, along with a small shop for forgotten bits, children's play areas and a lodge available to rent.
What is there to do near Gralyn's Caravan Park?
Sutton Hoo is five minutes by car or fifteen by bike, Rendlesham Forest's trails are an easy walk and Woodbridge is three miles away. The Suffolk coast beaches at Aldeburgh and Thorpeness are 20 minutes. Two golf courses are within ten minutes and fishing lakes under five.
