About this site

Hoburne Park is a facilities led holiday home park at Christchurch in Dorset, a short walk from the sandy Avon Beach, and it is the original Hoburne park, first opened in 1912. This is a holiday home resort of static caravans, lodges, apartments and cottages, so there are no tents and no touring pitches, the stays are self catering holiday homes you book or buy. The park sits off Hoburne Lane, BH23 4HU, close to Mudeford Quay and Hengistbury Head, with Christchurch town, Bournemouth and the New Forest all within easy reach. On site there are indoor and outdoor heated pools, a fitness suite with sauna and steam room, a restaurant and bar called The Compass, an amusement arcade, adventure golf, tennis and an adventure playground, plus evening entertainment through the season. It suits families and couples who want plenty to do without leaving the park, and it is dog friendly, with pets going free in selected homes. It does not suit campers or tourers. Guests regularly highlight the clean, well kept caravans, the pools and the children's entertainment, with the beach a short walk or bus ride away. Hoburne Park runs both holidays and holiday home ownership, and holiday prices are quoted through the Hoburne booking system, with seasonal offers listed on the operator site.

Good to know

Can I bring a tent or touring caravan to Hoburne Park?
No, Hoburne Park is a holiday home resort with no tents and no touring pitches. Stays are self catering static caravans, lodges, apartments and cottages that you book or buy. Hoburne offers touring pitches only at its Blue Anchor park in Somerset, not here in Christchurch.
Is Hoburne Park close to the beach?
Yes, the park is a short walk from the sandy Avon Beach at Christchurch. Mudeford Quay and Hengistbury Head are close by for walks and crabbing, and there is a bus service towards the seafront, with Bournemouth and its beaches a short drive away.
Is Hoburne Park dog friendly?
Yes, Hoburne is dog friendly and pets go free, with a selection of dog friendly holiday homes on the park. The nearby beach, Hengistbury Head and countryside give good walking, though you should book a pet friendly home so you are allocated the correct accommodation.
What facilities are on the park?
Plenty on site. There are indoor and outdoor heated pools, a fitness suite with sauna and steam room, adventure golf, tennis, an amusement arcade, an adventure playground and The Compass restaurant and bar, plus evening entertainment. The outdoor pool runs from May to September during the main season.
Is Hoburne Park suitable for families?
Yes, it is a family focused holiday park with pools, children's entertainment, adventure golf and a playground, so there is a lot for younger guests. Couples are also well catered for with the restaurant, bar and leisure facilities, making it a busy resort style stay rather than a quiet retreat.
How do I get holiday prices?
Holiday prices are quoted through the Hoburne booking system on the operator website, where you select dates and accommodation. Seasonal deals appear there too, such as discounted August stays and reduced September breaks, so it is worth checking current offers before you book a stay.
