The town hosts several festivals and events during the year, including a Jazz Festival, Beer Festival and Keswick Convention Bible Weeks. The Keswick Climbing Wall and Activity Centre offers abseiling, ghyll scrambling and an assault course. Trotters World of Animals has an active lynx conservation project, zebras, gibbons, snakes and more. A regular ferry service operates around the lake.
