Why campers love it here
About this site
Two miles from the sandy beach at Cayton Bay, Killerby Old Hall Caravan Park is an award winning touring park with 47 hardstanding pitches in the grounds of a country hall between Scarborough and Filey on the North Yorkshire coast. The park sits 600 metres from Cayton village and its pubs, post office and shops, with Scarborough a short drive north and the touring area split into three tree screened sections surrounded by 40 acres of farmland for a proper sense of seclusion. All 47 level pitches take caravans and motorhomes, 28 of them fully serviced, each with a digital TV feed and 16 amp electric on a pre payment meter that is charged separately from the pitch fee; there are no tent pitches, so canvas campers are out of luck here. Beyond the basics, Killerby Old Hall offers a heated indoor pool (£5 per person or £10 per caravan per day for touring guests), the Nine Eighty Bistro and Bar open to the public, lakeside glamping lodges with hot tubs and seven holiday cottages; the AA rates the site four pennants and it won North East Top Caravan Site in 2023. The touring park is open from 1 March to the end of December, dogs are welcome on the caravan site, and prices are quoted through the online booking system.
