Why campers love it here
About this site
Pitches: 20 Opening Dates: March To January Laurel Park is a quiet and secluded 3 acre site, sheltered on all sides by tall leylandii trees. Close to the north Norfolk border just off the A17 and only 1.5 miles south of the pretty market town of Long Sutton, it is situated on the National Cycling Network's cycle route 1 (Fakenham - Hull). Surrounded by fields, our site is a tranquil retreat, ideal for exploring the Wash Nature Reserve and the beautiful countryside around Spalding and the Fens. Or you are welcome to stay on site, appreciating the fantastic array of natural wildlife and birds, as well as our own collection of domestic animals, including: pygmy goats, chickens, rabbits, miniature donkeys, a dog and a cat. For parties requiring more than nature and countryside, there are many attractions within a 30 to 45 minute drive, including Sandringham Palace, seal-watching boat trips, beautiful beaches and well established golf courses. The Historic town of King's Lynn with it's medieval harbour and fine old merchants' houses provides a mix of heritage with a modern shopping centre, and is situated only 16 miles east of Laurel Park. Our quiet, secluded site is equally suitable for families, adults and group bookings. We have a well-stocked on-site shop, washing up facilities, washing machine and tumble drier, hot (free) showers, a communal seating area with picnic tables, a communal lounge with books, games and DVDs to borrow, as well as a TV and DVD player and a pool table. There is even a piano, should you wish to make your own entertainment. And a Tassimo coffee machine, for those who can't do without their proper coffee (pods are available in the shop - including Costa Coffee). We very much look forward to giving you a warm welcome you to our beautiful little site.
