About this site
Pitches: 72 Opening Dates: Open All Year Mayfield park is a family owned site close to the market town of Cirencester (capital of the Cotswolds). We have 36 pitches for both camping and caravanning, giving us 72 pitches spread over a generous twelve acres and we are open all year round. The gently sloping park with its level hard standing pitches is in an area of outstanding natural beauty overlooking the Churn Valley. It is a quiet smaller park and is ideal for exploring the ancient Roman town of Cirencester and the surrounding Cotswolds. You can explore the Forest of Dean or use us as the perfect stepping stone to Wales and the South-West. The lower half of the site has four hard standing pitches on a gravel surface. These are generously sized and designed to take awnings if required. The pitches are equipped with individual water taps and drainage. The rest of the site is made up of a variety of Grass and Hard Standing pitches, and we will discuss your needs when booking to ensure you are placed one one that best suits your circumstances. Quiet well behaved dogs on leads are welcome ( sorry not allowed in our hire caravans). A dog walk has been set aside just a short distance off the main site with a bin provided. Please mention that you intend to bring dogs when you book. We now have a limited WiFi service - only available close to reception Modern Heated Toilet and Shower Block with Disabled Facilities.
