This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club Certificated Location, which accepts just five caravans or motorhomes and is for Club Members only. Pitches: 5 CAMC Members Only Opening Dates: Open All Year "Escape To The Country" to rural Lincolnshire at Mere Oaks Caravan Site with country life and seclusion on our one acre level lawned site with ample space to stretch your legs and take it easy for a while We are within easy reach of the historic city of Lincoln with its splendid cathedral, castle, marina, university, paved shopping area and fine examples of Roman Lincoln We have local interests to please all the family including woodland walks opposite the site, fishing lakes, horse riding school and livery We also have the "Water Rail Way" which is a tarmac surfaced walking/cycle path running alongside the River Witham and is a well used scenic path suitable for use at all times of he year Within easy walking distance we also have a very popular 9 hole golf course with modern clubhouse We have several village pubs serving excellent meals within 3 miles The scenic Lincolnshire Wolds, an area of outstanding natural beauty, is only half an hour away (15 miles) and is well worth a visit Our site is open all year and pets and children are welcome We were fortunate in being featured in John Bateman's "On Location" in the Caravan Club Magazine and in the MMM magazine for motorhome owners (October 2014) and we hope that you will visit our site to enjoy all that we have to offer in this area Please note this site is a Caravan Club Certificated Location for the use of Caravan Club members and potential members Site Fees: £12 00 per night inclusive of 16 amp electric hookup and awning.
