About this site

Mere Oaks CL is a small five-van certificated location on a one-acre lawned site at Potterhanworth Booths, roughly 7 miles south of Lincoln, best known as a quiet, members' base within easy reach of the cathedral city. It sits in flat, green countryside on the edge of the Fens, with the village pub a mile away, woodland walks directly opposite and a 9-hole golf course within walking distance. This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club certificated location, so it is reserved for members and takes caravans, motorhomes and small campervans up to 9 metres, not tents, across grass and enhanced pitches with 16-amp electric hook-up. With only five pitches it stays peaceful, which suits couples and small families after calm rather than a busy park with lots of facilities. What makes Mere Oaks worthwhile is the position: Lincoln and its castle, cathedral, marina and shopping are a short drive, coarse and game fishing lakes sit within 5 miles, and the Lincolnshire Wolds AONB is about 15 miles, roughly half an hour, away. Dogs are welcome, with a dog walk straight from the site. The site is open all year, and pitches are booked directly with the Club member who owns it in Lincolnshire.
