Why campers love it here
About this site
Morecambe Lodge Caravan Park is a private holiday home park on Shore Lane at Bolton-le-Sands, on the edge of Morecambe Bay, where the touring pitches are let by the season rather than by the night. The park has direct access to the beach, with the shore about 150 metres from the touring field entrance at Bolton-le-Sands, and the sunsets across the bay towards the Lakeland hills are the reason a lot of owners keep coming back. Lancaster and Morecambe are both close by, and the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Parks are within reach for a day out, with the Forest of Bowland and the Fylde beaches in the other directions. There are 25 seasonal touring pitches, fully serviced hard standings with a 16 amp electric supply (32 amp on the four centre pitches), a grey waste point and reduced pressure water for direct connection, plus parking for your car alongside. The shower blocks include disabled washing facilities, and there is a laundry and pot washing on site. Here is the part that matters: if you are touring and want a pitch for a night or a long weekend, Morecambe Lodge is not the site for you. The main park of 174 holiday homes is kept for owners and their family and friends, and the touring field is sold as a seasonal berth. Seasonal pitches run from 1 March to 31 October and start from £3,000 for the season, not including electricity.
