New Lodge Farm Caravan/Camping and Glamping Site with Farm Shop and Cafe are set in a quiet, attractive rural location close to Rockingham Forest. The farm is run by husband and wife team Simon and Sarah Singlehurst. The award winning Farm Shop, Butchery and eatery was opened in 1999. The exclusively adult site for touring Caravans/Motorhomes and Tents was opened in 2014. The site makes use of old stone Farm barns which have been beautifully brought back to life and house a superb reception, shower/toilet block, and laundry facilities, all hinting towards their former use with beams and features retained. The Touring site facilities include 58 fully serviced pitches, a selection of hardstanding or grass each with 16a electric hooks ups, fresh water and grey waste drainage. Tents all have generous pitches with electric hookup and parking on the pitch. New this season New Lodge Farm have added two Luxury Glamping POD's for hire. These POD's are self contained with double bed, sofa, kitchenette, dining area and en-suite facilities. Complete with decked terrace, easy chairs and fire pit. The whole Farm Site runs exclusively on Biomass Woodchip, providing heat and hot water and Solar panels for electricity, helping it hit the highest standards of sustainability. Set in the midddle of our working Farm, our guests are able to enjoy beautiful views of the peaceful grazing livestock and the surrounding countryside. Walks from the site are many and varies from open valleys to ancient Forests or just relax on site to watch our towering Red Kites that are a daily feature. We have an Award winning Farm Shop and an On Farm Butchery producing Lamb, Beef and Pork straight off the Farm. its also offers a varied selection of best local produce. The Farm Shop eatery is open to all guests, every weekend including Bank Holidays and limited opening hours during the week. Vending machine on site. A firm favourite with our guests are our campsite exclusive Friday Night Farmhouse Suppers and Sunday Roasts. Every weekend we serve a home cooked menu throughout the day or alternatively why not buy some homemade Sausages, Beef burgers or Aberdeen Angus Steaks from the shop to cook on your own BBQ along with a chilled bottle of wine!
