About this site

Newperran Holiday Resort, formerly Newperran Holiday Park, is an Away Resorts holiday park at Hendra Croft between Newquay and Perranporth in Cornwall, pairing a heated indoor pool with a short summer tent camping season. The park sits just off the A3075 in open countryside; Perranporth and its 3 miles of sand are about 3 miles away by road, Newquay about 6 miles, and Lappa Valley steam railway and Healey's Cornish Cyder Farm are both within a 10 minute drive. Camping in 2026 runs from 3 July to 31 August only, on non-serviced grass pitches measuring 5m by 8m that take one tent and up to six people, so touring caravans, motorhomes and anyone needing electric hook-up are not catered for this year. Hired accommodation covers two and three bedroom caravans and lodges for families who want the full holiday park setup. Campers get the indoor pool, the Sunset Bar and Eatery with its log fire and terrace, an adventure playground and a dedicated dog walking area, plus showers, a wash-up area and water and refuse points serving Newperran's camping field. Dogs are welcome with a maximum of two per booking; they join you in the bar but stay out of the pool and playground. Pitch prices are quoted through Away Resorts' online booking system, so book early for the short Cornwall camping window.

Good to know

Can I take a touring caravan or motorhome to Newperran?
No, Newperran is tents only for the 2026 season. Away Resorts is running camping on non-serviced grass pitches from 3 July to 31 August 2026, with one unit per pitch, so touring caravans and motorhomes need to look at other parks this year.
Are dogs allowed at Newperran Holiday Resort?
Yes, dogs are welcome at Newperran with a maximum of two per booking. There is a dedicated dog walking area with all day access, and dogs can join you at the Sunset Bar and Eatery, though they are not allowed in the indoor pool or the adventure playground.
When is Newperran open for camping in 2026?
Camping at Newperran runs from 3 July to 31 August 2026. Arrivals check in from 11.30am and pitches are vacated by 10am on departure day, while the park's hire caravans and lodges operate over a longer season through Away Resorts.
Do the camping pitches at Newperran have electric hook-up?
No, the tent pitches are non-serviced grass pitches without electric hook-up. Each pitch measures 5m by 8m, takes one tent and up to six people, and campers use the showers, wash-up area and water and refuse points, with park facility access included in the pitch price.
How much does camping at Newperran cost?
Newperran does not publish a fixed camping price list, and pitch prices are quoted through Away Resorts' online booking system by date. Access to park facilities, including the heated indoor pool, is included in the pitch price, and groups of 13 or more people need to contact the park directly.
How far is Newperran from the beach?
Perranporth beach is about 3 miles from Newperran by road, and Newquay's beaches, including Fistral, are around 6 miles away. The park sits in open Cornish countryside just off the A3075, so several north coast beaches such as Holywell Bay are within a 15 minute drive.
