About this site

Newquay Holiday Park is a Parkdean Resorts holiday park on a hillside above Newquay in Cornwall, built around three heated outdoor pools and a 200 foot waterslide. Be clear on one thing first: there are no touring or tent pitches here any more, so the choice is two and three bedroom holiday caravans, lodges and 12 Safari Plus glamping tents, each with its own bathroom, kitchen and decking. Campers wanting a proper pitch should look at Parkdean's Holywell Bay or Lizard Point campsites elsewhere in Cornwall. The park sits off the A3059 with Porth Beach about 2 miles away, Newquay town centre about 3 miles (roughly a 10 minute drive) and Fistral Beach, Newquay Zoo and the Blue Reef Aquarium all within 4 miles. Newquay Holiday Park suits families who want everything laid on: adventure golf, bungee trampolines, high ropes, an arcade and nightly shows, plus the Boathouse Bar and Restaurant, a Costa Coffee and a Pizza Box takeaway. It does not suit anyone after a quiet site, and the hilly layout is worth noting if mobility is a concern. Dogs stay in selected caravans and lodges (maximum two, £49 per dog per break) and get their own Woof Park agility area. The park opens 1 March to 30 November, with 2026 caravan breaks from £99, glamping from £129 and lodges from £169.

Good to know

Can you camp at Newquay Holiday Park with a tent or tourer?
No, Newquay Holiday Park no longer takes tents, touring caravans or motorhomes. Parkdean Resorts now runs it as a static caravan, lodge and glamping park; its nearest Cornish campsites with proper touring pitches are Holywell Bay (41 pitches) and Lizard Point (77 pitches).
Are dogs allowed at Newquay Holiday Park?
Yes, dogs are welcome in selected pet friendly caravans and lodges, with a maximum of two per stay and a charge of £49 per dog per break. The park has its own Woof Park, an enclosed dog agility area, and dogs must be kept on leads around the park.
When is Newquay Holiday Park open?
The park opens from 1 March to 30 November each year and is closed through the winter. The three heated outdoor pools are seasonal, open until 27 September in 2026, so book earlier in the season if the waterslide is the main event for your crew.
How much does a stay at Newquay Holiday Park cost?
Parkdean Resorts quotes 2026 breaks from £99 for a holiday caravan, £129 for a Safari Plus glamping tent and £169 for a lodge. Prices vary by date and accommodation grade, and exact figures are quoted through Parkdean's own booking system.
How far is Newquay Holiday Park from the beach and town?
Porth Beach is about 2 miles from the park and Newquay town centre about 3 miles, roughly a 10 minute drive. Fistral Beach, the town's surfing headline, is around 4 miles away, and Watergate Bay is a short drive up the coast.
Does Newquay Holiday Park have glamping?
Yes, the park has 12 Safari Plus glamping tents, each with a private bathroom and shower, a kitchen with electric hob, microwave and fridge, heating, a TV and an outside decking area. Glamping breaks start from £129 through Parkdean's booking system.
