About this site

Pitches: 30 Opening Dates: Closed August 26th Until Next May At the head of the Cuckmere valley, this working farm is well placed for exploring the South Downs Country Park, The High Weald, Ashdown Forest, and the Sussex sunshine coast by car, by cycle, or walking Cars are only allowed in the camping fields for loading/unloading. This family friendly campsite has very basic facilities for those who want a break from modern life, but there is a SmallSnackShack on site, a shop an easy five minute walk away, and a bustling little market town just 4 miles down the road. We do have wonderful flush loos with handwash basins, and now 4 showers but this is Basic Camping so don't expect too much in the way of plush modern comforts, just enjoy our countryside, cows, and wildlife, and of course our wonderful sunsets and stars! Campfires allowed. Adults £10/night, £5 children aged 5 to 15, dogs £1 We have a log cabin beautifully furnished and with log stoves for heating for those who want the outdoor experience in comfort. This is set in the secluded pond area ( adults only ). We also have a bell tent ready erected ready for you if you prefer not to have the hassle of bringing your own tent and equipment this can be in the adult or family field.
